As highlighted by Eigen Engineering in their article “Tool and Die Design for Progressive Stamping: Maximizing Productivity”, progressive die stamping stands out as one of the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing methods available today.
Progressive stamping involves feeding a continuous strip of metal through a series of stations within a die. Each station performs a different operation—such as punching, coining, or bending—gradually shaping the part until it reaches its final form. Once the last station completes its task, the finished part is separated from the strip.
